Lisa and I used to make a pact at work to wear sandals on the same day for the first time each Spring (well usually way before Spring). It has been over 3 years since this world lost beautiful Lisa, but every year when I wear my flip flops for the first time after winter, I think of her. This week we had unusually warm weather (over 70°) and I thought of her when I painted my toenails and broke out the sandals. I miss her so. (I previously made this piece about Lisa as well).
