This page was particularly hard for me to complete. In fact I thought about taking the easy way out, and thinking of something less emotional, but I know that would not have been the true authentic me. I really do miss him every day, and wish that I could see his twinkling eyes, his smile, or hear his "Pappy whistle," or have him pull my pigtails and say "Yink Yink." There are so many good memories! I am so glad he was [is] my Pappy!
As far as the art goes, it was just a layered page, with several different textured papers, photographs, white paint. My favorite is the silver "halo" doily behind his head, because I know he is with me always.
