Wonderland Wedding

Months of planning have come to an end, and the wedding day went off without a hitch. It was a beautiful day, and everything came together perfectly, more perfect than I could have ever imagined. Here is a glimpse!

"An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break." —An ancient Chinese belief

These are the rings my parents used in their wedding in 1976, they had his engraved with Once Upon a Time and mine engraved with And They Lived Happily Ever After — and told us that it is up to us to write our story! To top that off, we had a ring warming ceremony at the beginning, where the rings were passed around to every guest so that they could say a blessing or a wish for us — after making it around the circle, they were warmed with love and ready for us to use in the ceremony!

Prior to the wedding day, I had a hatmaking tea party with a few of my close friends to prepare for the day. We asked all of our guests to wear a hat (both a homage to our hometown of Louisville with the Kentucky Derby hats and fitting for a mad hatter tea party!!) Here are a few of the fabulous hats from the day!

I also asked each of my friends and relatives to contribute a brooch to my bouquet. It really is so special to me, because it represents all the people that I love!

The Wonderland theme was carried into the table decor, and it was filled with whimsy. Each person had a teacup and saucer as a wedding favor. We collected them for months at thrift stores and antique malls, along with tea pots. The tea pots were then gifted to family members as a reminder of our special day. Each teacup was adorned with a "drink me" tag with the guests name on it!

Another favorite part of the day was our DIY photobooth. With the help of friends we created our own photobooth props perfect for our wedding! We drew and painted them with watercolors, backing them with foam core and pasting them on a wooden skewer to complete them. Other props were chalkboard though bubbles created using chalkboard contact paper and black foam core and frames from the thrift store that I spray painted in bright colors. The back drops were also from a thrift store, and were simply brightly colored curtains! I placed my camera on a tripod, hung the remote shutter release within an arms reach, and Voila! A photobooth!

Our guest book, incorporated both of our passions, mine is art and his is drumming. We decided it would be perfect to have everyone decorate a drumstick to commemorate our day. They turned our beautifully!

I hope you enjoyed a little peek into our special day!!

  21. I am bold enough among many others to state that there is now a potent cure to this sickness but many are unaware of it. I discovered that I was infected with the virus 3 months ago, after a medical check-up. My doctor told me and I was shocked, confused and felt like my world has crumbled. I was dying slowly due to the announcement of my medical practitioner but he assured me that I could leave a normal life if I took my medications (as there was no medically known cure to Herpes). I went from churches to churches but soon found that my case needed urgent attention as I was growing lean due to fear of dying anytime soon. In a bid to look for a lasting solution to my predicament, I sought for solutions from the herbal world. I went online and searched for every powerful trado-medical practitioner that I could severe, cos I heard that the African Herbs had a cure to the Herpes syndrome. It was after a little time searching the web that I came across one Dr Itua(A powerful African Herbal Doctor), who offered to help me at a monetary fee. I had to comply as this was my final bus-stop to receiving a perfect healing. My last resolve was to take my life by myself, should this plan fail. At last it worked out well. He gave me some steps to follow and I meticulously carried out all his instructions. Last month, to be precise, I went back to the hospital to conduct another test and to my amazement, the results showed that negative,Dr Itua Can As Well Cure The Following Desease…Cancer,Hiv,Herpes, Hepatitis B,Liver Inflammatory,Diabetis,Fribroid, Dercum, fibromyalgia,Get Your Ex Back, You can free yourself of this Herpes virus by consulting this great African Herbal Doctor via this e-mail: drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com or call and whatsapp him on +2348149277967 He will help you and his herb medication is sure. he has the cure on all disease .You can talk to me on INSTAGRAM..tashamoore219....
